Steer yourself on over for a tasty cup of java

From Burnet to Lakeline, it’s “love at first sip” for coffee fans who cruise up to one of Mojo Coffee’s five drive-up coffee shops. The small, but growing local coffee chain has found a new legion of caffeinated fans with each location that it opens, and its Liberty Hill outpost is no different. Whether you’re a fan of specialty iced coffee drinks or keep it old school and like your coffee hot and black, you can’t go wrong when getting your buzz on with Mojo.

The coffee company opened its first location in Burnet in 2015 when two cousins set out on a mission to make a positive impact in the community by bringing a little joy – one cup of coffee at a time. As one of its owners, Austin Moon, told KXAN, making the work environment for its employees a positive experience is something he believes sets Mojo apart from the standard coffee house.

“We are family-owned and it’s important to us that our employees enjoy being here and being part of our community. To do that, we create as many fun and engaging shared experiences as we can.”

And when Austin says that the company strives to create fun experiences for its employees, he means it. In just the last year, Mojo employees have taken retreats to Cancun, whitewater rafting, a ski trip, and skydiving! Austin says it’s these sort of shared experiences that help strengthen his team as a cohesive unit. These fun vibes undoubtedly have trickled down to the customer, as well.

Friendly Faces and Tasty Drinks

Any coffee shop that wants to stay in business has to know how to make a good cup of coffee, and if it wants to grow, awesome customer service is a key part of the equation. Based on reviews from customers, Mojo seems to have both of those things nailed down pretty well.

Customers on Yelp rave about the coffee shop’s signature drinks such as the Aloha Iced Latte, and they say the staff is “friendly, informative, efficient, and 100% awesome even in 100* [degree] Texas heat.”

Some of Mojo’s popular specialty drinks include the Andes Mint Mocha (a mocha with a minty twist), Riser (a silky blend of Irish cream and breve), and Chai Tea Latte (black tea with honey and spices). The coffee shop also offers cold brew with its signature house roast which can be customized any way you like, as well as tea, lemonade, and smoothies.

For customers who feel like they need a pick-me-up but maybe don’t want the coffee taste, there are several energy drink options. With names like Shark Attack, Blaze, and Pixie Stick, and flavors including coconut, lime, peach, strawberry, blackberry, and almond, these drinks are just as fun to order as they are to sip.
